Bristol, like many parts of the UK, is facing a housing crisis. A lack of space for new homes partnered with an ever-increasing population mean demand for high-quality, affordable, properties far outstrips supply.
Rising prices have left a generation of young people unable to think about home ownership, and soaring rents have prompted a rise in the number of young people unable to move out of the family home.
Inevitably elitism within the housing market hits the poorest in the city the hardest and Bristol has seen an explosion in the number of people who are homeless and sleeping rough.
